Glass fusing and slumping have primarily been self taught skills that Sam has had success with. The basic technique is to take glass pieces or sheets, cut them into shapes, then "cook’em" in a kiln. Sounds easy but Sam has years of trial and error work to get this art form to where he has taken it.
