I feel my landscapes work best in watercolor. For animals I usually use pastel or pen and ink with a watercolor wash. I'll snap a multitude of photos when I'm inspired by a certain object, animal or scene, then it stays in my thoughts like a dormant seed until, one day, I try to bring it to life.
