While the poet uses a pen on paper, I use the tools and techniques of traditional blacksmithing to breathe life into steel. In my sculpture I attempt to capture movement and feeling. In my functional art, expressed in furniture and architectural hardware, I attempt to find harmony by blending organic forms with early industrial designs. My poetry is written with a hammer in steel!
