Artist statement and a description of your art medium. This is the information that will be posted on the website and Facebook regarding your work. Please limit statement to two sentences.

Complete this section only if selecting Scholarship: Describe why you should be considered for scholarship, based on need or merit:

Volunteer Choices:

Read through all the committee assignments. Choose three committees that you prefer. The board will assign you to one at the first meeting.

o All artists are required to get two sponsors for the show, distribute brochures o Choose three(3) Committees you are willing to commit to working on for your volunteer time: The board will then assign you to one committee.

Banner Person • Updates the dates on the banner • Presents street banner to the city to be hung (June 25 – July 5, 2027) • Hangs the banner on the tennis court fence (June 25 – July 5, 2027) • Requests the dates for the following year at the Village Hall

Sponsorship Sales (two people) • Chairperson: Receives the Sponsorship information forms and checks from the members o Reviews each check to see if additional information needs to be included on the information form and gets all the checks to the Treasurer. o Keeps all the sponsorship information forms for verification. o Keeps the Website and Brochure chair persons informed of all the sponsors an

Brochure Distribution (EVERYONE) • Each artist is responsible for distributing brochures in the locations assigned to them by the chair of this committee • Chairperson: Assigns a distribution area to each artist o Checks distribution areas making sure maps are distributed o Contacts artists, if needed, letting them know that a particular place needs brochures.

Brochure Design Persons (3 persons needed): • Plan the brochure layout • Plan the cover layout • Plan the sponsorship ads

SIGNAGE COMMITTEE (2 people) • CHAIR: Organizes distribution of signs for the tour o Distributes the signs to sponsors a week before the show. o Collects the sponsor signs from sponsors and puts them into storage. • Sets a time and date for the artists to pick up the yellow sandwich signs and directional signs. • Keeps track of each artist checking the signs back into storage

Treasurer’s Backup:. • This person will work with Sally Wimberly in 2027 and assume the position of Treasurer at the end of Sally Wimberly’s term. 2028.

Website/Social Media: Charlotte Pawlak and Judy Pekelsma • Updates the website with new photos, descriptions, and an artist map. o Artist may send new work throughout the year for inclusion on Social Media • Posts a list of sponsors onto the website with their logos

Membership Fees

Membership Fee Choice (Select One) Paid upon your acceptance into the show in addition to the new artist $25 application fee and is due by January 13, 2027

$25 Scholarship (only paying for jury fee). +volunteer at least 8 hours.

$250 Membership fee + volunteer at least 8 hours.

$400 Fee non-volunteer artist (Every artist must distribute brochures to local businesses)

$450 Fee to replace getting two (2) sponsors for the brochure
